I am Melonie Prebble GDC 4819 a qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist graduating from The London Hospital in 1995. I achieved a distinction in Dental Therapy and proceeded to provide dental care in general dental practice. I have worked in a range of practices since qualifying, in the NHS and private sectors as well as in cosmetically focussed practices. I took the opportunity to work abroad, spending time studying in America to further develop my skills. I currently offer my services at Abbey Road Dental in North West London and helped to develop a professional and popular Dental Hygiene Department.
Working as a Dental Therapist allows me to provide routine dental care for all ages. Dental Screening and prevention are essential for maintaining good oral health.
My experience in working with a wide range of practices led to an interest in business development skills so, to support this, I became qualified as a Master Neuro Linguistic Programming Coach in 2013. This additional training enables me to help professionals, as well as private dentists, get the most out of their practices and provide the best patient services they can.
As part of my commitment to the dental industry, I’m a regular contributor to dental journals, a national speaker at dental conferences and I sit on the judging panel for the Dentistry Awards and the Dental Hygiene & Therapy Awards. I appreciate having the opportunity to work with a wide range of people and learn from the successes and new technologies I am introduced to.
